Saint Mary's Health Care to Host Physicians from China
Chinese Physicians to Observe Excellent Clinical Practices

(Grand Rapids, MI). To strengthen the relationship that was formed several years ago, physicians from the China/Japan Friendship Hospital in Beijing, China, will be hosted by physicians at Saint Mary’s Health Care on August 29 – 31.

The five physician guests, who are deputy directors or directors of departments and programs at the China/Japan Friendship Hospital, will observe clinical practices such as radiation oncology, the Wege Institute integrative medicine model, and cardiovascular services during their stay.

This will be the third visit of the physicians to Saint Mary’s in as many years, as part of a cultural and professional exchange program among Saint Mary’s, Grand Valley State University, and the China/Japan Friendship Hospital in Beijing.

A reception on August 29 at the Lacks Cancer Center at Saint Mary’s will be followed by two days of clinical observation, coordinated by the Wege Institute of Mind, Body, and Spirit at Saint Mary’s.
